1.
Are you truly listening, Can you really hear me We are all dissolving, Soft as skies are weeping Blending into forever, are you here right now Am I in control? Am I even speaking? On a journey back to the beginning Before the earth started spinning On a journey back to the beginning Before we ever started learning
2.
Are you lost in this golden time The moon will light your way back home You hold this life so dear Its growing ever clear Deep inside, All things come to light In my mind, it always comes out right Right on time, it always comes to light You'll soon be fine, In another life Are you lost in this golden time The moon will light your way back home You hold this life so dear Its growing ever clear The moon it burned so bright above Deep inside, All things come to light In my mind, it always comes out right Right on time, it always comes to light You'll soon be fine, In another life
3.
I know you don't want to You shouldn't have to You know where you're heading The sun is setting The storm is breaking Yours for the taking The sky is clear Let go of fear The truth will appear Answers so near Nothing to stop you Don't be too shocked to Make the right move Something so smooth Got to remove All but the truth You are on the right path, back to where you belong You are on your way, back home Gone Overboard You're lost to the shores Can't say more Gone Overboard No ones keepin score You must endure Gone Overboard It's beginning to pour Don't ignore
4.
Let You Go 02:45
I can finally let you go Now that the stars are falling into the sea I can finally let it show (crash) Now I'm away, far from the city I can finally let you go Now that I'm free, I'm seeing I can ever, endeavour, through this weather.. Safe and sound The cord is cut, it's been severed, no longer tethered.. floating away My roots are pulled, petals been plucked, no longer chained.. to the ground
5.
Easy as she goes Holds what she knows In the palms of her groves Easy as she goes Slowly as the river flows Time takes a toll On the faces that you know Easy as they go Don’t upset the balance Take what you can to Make what will expand true - Understand your role You’ve grown whole On the brink of your goal - Take what you hold Turn it into gold Let it all unfold Now You’ve grown old Do you have control? Time has swallowed you whole Feel forever full In the mirror of your soul What do you know now? What do you know now? Where will you go? When will you know? Easy as she goes Easy as she goes Easy as she goes Easy as she goes
6.
Night Owl 03:03
Into the darkness of night the night owl takes flight searching for ways to the light blinded by visions of strife this feeling it comes from within its come here to take you again Night Owl Night Owl The night owl Sees designs All through your mind Don't be blind The night owl it flies Out of your sight Into the sky Through it's eyes See the light As the sun Sleeps inside
7.
You are from distant stars You have come so far Just to be where you are ~ Who you think you are Who you really are Remember, Surrender Remember, Surrender The currents, are flowing, their going, home again Remember, Surrender Remember, Surrender These patterns, resurface, on purpose, within You are brighter than any other can You will understand when you land I know this isn’t what you planned Take command of your dreamland You are stronger from what you withstand You are brighter than_any other can You will understand when you land You will understand when you land
8.
It's gettin dark out, much too dark to see It's gettin late now, far past I believe He's got somewhere to be 'Fore the leaf falls from the trees He's something you can see Moving like the sea He's got somewhere to be When the sun sets him free I've got nowhere to be Nothing more for me I've got nowhere to be To feel completely free I've got nowhere to be I can finally see I've got nowhere to be I can see you clearly
9.
Understanding who you are Where the sky stretches far Understanding who you are Where the sky stretches far Softly as it passes by Palms raised to the sky Never asking why Never asking why Understanding who you are
10.
What did you forget? Living on the outside? Did you see the sign? Echoed In your mind? What did you forget? What did you forget?
11.
Take a stroll through my mind What'd you find? Lost in visions of another world Made of pearls In our heads, burns the face of god chanting hymns, embrace it In our heads, burns the ways we are between my eyes, taste it You are still transforming Tend to your body now

about

In Orlando amidst the rainy, humid and hot swamps of Central Florida, the three members of Polyfang - singer/guitarist Jeffrey Plettinck, bassist David Rothkopf and keyboardist Argenis Santos - created Affirmations, the band's debut studio album.

Affirmations, as the title suggests commits positive affirmations to the listener to help redirect one's path into alignment. "Remember Surrender" fuses a haunting melody regarding the dangers of resisting natural forces outside of our control. The lyrics and melody came to Jeffrey during a week retreat in complete isolation in the mountains. Through waves of dreamy guitar, Airy vocals, bouncy basslines and groovy synths the band brings the comforting sound of a late night campfire to the deep psychedelic frontiers of the mind.
